This policy explains what TruthOak collects when you use this website and the product, why we collect it, and how you can reach us about it. We collect the minimum we need to run the service and we do not sell your data.
What we collect
We collect three kinds of information, and no more than we need.
- The website address you enter for a scan, so we can read your public site and return a result.
- Account details you give us, such as your name, work email, and company website, when you start a trial or contact us.
- Standard technical logs, such as a request time and a coarse location, used to keep the service secure and reliable.
How we use it
We use your information to run the audit, deliver the product, respond to your messages, and keep the service safe. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not share it with third parties except the processors we need to run the service, such as our hosting and email providers.
Your control
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Reach us through the contact page and we will respond within a reasonable time.
